Aubert & Mathieu are a relatively new producer making some really lovely organic wines from the Languedoc that are very competitively priced. Kate, their Sauvignon Blanc, is a cracker made more in a Sancerre style as opposed to a more full blown SB. Crisp and vibrant with zingy acidity, grass, citrus, elderflower and minerals., it has good balance and length and is clearly made by people that know what they're doing. We've tasted other wines from these guys and you can see why they're gaining traction, especially amongst the on trade. Very easy wines to like and brilliant value for money, especially for organic.
