A fabulous wine from a world class producer, this 100% Carinena Blanca - certified biodynamic - is produced from old vines from their Priorat estate. The result is a complex wine, deeply coloured with heady aromas of apple, citrus, yellow plums and peach. On the palate, the wine is full but balanced, with the fruit supplemented by notes of minerals, hay, spice and subtle oak. The acidity is vibrant and it all has a wonderful mouth feel, leading to a crisp, saline tinged finish. An almost forgotten variety that produces a remarkable wine. A must try!
