This is a cracking, relatively new grower Champagne from the Mignon brothers (Florent & Julien) that is gaining quite a reputation amongst wine lovers. The downside is that it has a tiny production, with only approximately 1500 bottles of this Cuis made. So, if you see it, grab it! It's extra brut (1.6g/l dosage), made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the Cote de Blancs and produced in an artisanal manner. Medium bodied with apple, stone fruit, and citrus along with subtle tropical hints, there's crunchy mouth watering acidity and an oyster shell like minerality. A hint of creaminess too on the finish. Seriously good and easy to see why the brothers are rising stars.
