We enjoyed a few bottles of this brilliant Champagne some years back and I've been trying to get my hands on more ever since. So, it was with great delight that I saw one of our new suppliers was their agent. But they'd sold their annual allocation already! After a bit of a wait, we've managed to grab some stock, a few bottles of which have gone straight into the Watson cellar. It's sublime fizz, fresh and vibrant with lemon curd, apples and a clean mineral streak. But there's richness and weight there too with a lovely brioche note and a bit of toast and spice. Elegant, harmonious, complex and delicious to drink. I can't wait to crack one open.
