La Mesma is owned and run by the three Rosina sisters and it is now considered one of the best producers in Gavi, if not the best. Certified organic since 2017, their belief is that great wine starts in the vineyard and their philosophy is based on improving their natural environment. The wine is made with minimal intervention. And it's lovely. An aromatic nose of almond, baked apple, melon, white peach and citrus leads into a well balanced palate with fresh white stone fruit, apricot, savoury herbal notes and minerals. Good acidity, well balanced and long, it's excellent on its own but with enough depth and complexity to enjoy with a range of dishes.
