From one of Australia's top producers, this is a really fine Margaret River Cabernet with a lovely balance between the Old and New World styles. The wonderfully fragrant nose leads into a silky palate full of cassis and plum fruit along with tobacco, bramble, cocoa, cedar and spice. It's very plush with fine tannins, bright acidity and good structure, long and fine with an underlying minerality. Perfectly balanced, this vintage is drinking beautifully now and will develop further in bottle. The Art Series has a reputation for producing some of Australia's finest wines and this is proof indeed.
