I used to sell loads of this wine post a visit to their stunning vineyards back in 2007. Then I stopped when their UK agent sold a parcel into M&S. But I've been drinking the wine again recently and it is ridiculously good so I've decided to forgive them. It's simply delicious to drink, with gorgeous silky fruit - a mix of red (strawberry, raspberry) and black (cherry, blackberry) - pepper, sweet spice, tobacco and subtle oak. The acidity is well balanced, the tannins are velvety and there's a lovely length on the finish. Wild Earth are based very close to Felton Road, so they've got a premium location but you've still got to produce the goods - and these guys do it in spades.
