This wine is produced by what is probably France's smallest co-operative (there are just two members). Farming 40 hectares sustainably, with many of the vienyards on the excellent Silex soil, this wine is incredible value for money given the quality. Light in colour, the expressive nose shows notes of fresh gooseberry, nettle, peach and apple. The flinty soils add minerality to the palate and along with the bright fruit, there's mouth watering acidity. It's really fresh and moreish with a touch of elderflower on the finish, which is crisp and bone dry. A perfect summer quaffer.
