Complex Whites

This case does exactly what it says on the tin (well, box) - six delicious whites that offer complexity in different ways.  These are fine whites to make to think as you swirl, sniff and sip, the aromas and flavours developing in the glass as the wine opens up.  The sort of wines that we can't get enough of.

This case includes one bottle of each of the following:

Omina Romana Hermes Diactoros II - a stunning Italian blend of Viognier & Chardonnay with indigenous varieties making up about 30%. 

Cesar Marquez La Salvacion - top quality organic Godello from a winemaker at the top of his game.

Luis Perez La Escribana - produced in Jerez - usually sherry country - this is a wine that has aged under flor (like sherry) for 12 months before bottling.  Unusual but complex and stunning.

Lelie van Saron Chardonnay - Natasha Williams is a dynamic young winemaker producing some terrific wines in South Africa's beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde region.

Planeta Chardonnay - a richer, more powerful Chardonnay from one of Sicily's finest. 

Soutbosch Chenin Blanc - a collaboration between a winemaker, wine importer, wine writer and wine glass importer, resulting in a mineral and fruit laden stunner.
