Alexandre Chartogne started his estate in 2006 at the age of 23, having worked with Anselme Selosse, who heavily influenced his ideas on viticulture. His ethos is based on understanding his soils and letting nature express itself. His are wonderfully pure Champagnes and the Sainte Anne Brut is a lovely delicate style of fizz showcasing crisp citrus fruit, quince, brioche and a saline, mineral note. It has lovely energy, purity, balance and length, a real cracker and brilliant value for such quality.
