From a stunning vineyard only a few miles from where we are based in Tunbridge Wells, Fox & Fox make tiny quantities of sublime, multi award winning English Sparkling Wine. Essence is their Blanc de Blancs, 100% Chardonnay, and won Gold Medal at the prestigious 2021 Decanter World Wine Awards. The inviting nose of ripe apple and citrus leads into a palate with wonderful crispness and balance, showing notes of apple, lemon, almond and white flowers. Very pure and precise, with a long finish, these wines seem to get better with each passing year.
