This is from a spectacular estate in Portugal's Alentejo where they make wines that truly express the native varieties of the region. This is a simple, fresh, fruity wine that over delivers for the price point - often hard to do when producing sustainably. With juicy blackberries, plums and dark cherry on the nose, the soft and velvety palate displays an array of soft dark fruits with subtle clove and cinnamon spice. Balanced acidity and soft tannins make this the ideal all rounder - juicy enough to quaff on its own but with enough depth to pair with many different foods.
