El Coto are a much larger producer than we normally deal with but we had to list a couple of their wines as the quality to price ratio is simply outstanding. They've spent the past few years converting a large number of hectares to organic viticulture (and will soon be certified) and the wines they are producing are excellent. Their Gran Reserva - a multi award winning wine - is packed with supple red and black fruits (cherry, wild strawberry, plum, blackcurrant) with hints of chocolate, tobacco, sweet spices, vanilla and cedar. It's a real crowd pleaser with very fine tannins, fresh acidity and a great length of flavour. Great stuff.
