A lovely smooth red from a one of Spain's lesser known regions. Situated to the North West of the Ribera del Duero, this 100% Tempranillo is reminiscent of a Ribera red - dark fruited, spicy, full bodied and velvety - but at a slightly lower price point. If you like powerful yet balanced reds with lashings of blackcurrant and cherry fruit, leather, spice and toasty oak, I think you'll be in for a very pleasant surprise when you taste this. Jo guessed at double the ££ in our regular "guess the price" game so lots of bang for your buck here.
