We're huge fans of the stunning M3 Chardonnay from Martin Shaw and Michael Hill-Smith but their Lenswood Vineyard Chardonnay is a step up. The vineyard combines high altitude, mature vines and great terroir to produce one of Australia's finest Chardonnay. The grapes are hand picked, whole bunch pressed and then fermented and matured on lees in 500 litre French oak barrels. The result is a fine boned wine showcasing intense citrus and white stone fruits along with lemon curd, minerals, gun flint and apple blossom. The fresh acidity and structure suggest this will happily age for a decade and more.
