Made from frozen grapes (harvested at -10 Celsius), Inniskillen are probably Canada's top sweet wine producer and their Vidal icewine is extraordinarily good. Packed with ripe peach, juicy tangerine and warming spices, the lively acidity adds balance to this delicious nectar so you wouldn't guess at the 233.6 g/L of residual sugar (very high on any scale). It's so remarkably delicious and balanced, luscious and long, that it really is a hedonistic wine. But, hey, you don't drink things like this every day so make the most of it when you do.
