We've served this wine to many friends and, without fail, each time it's been commented on how nice it is. Spain is producing genuinely exciting wines at the moment and this is predominantly Treixadura (85%) from Spain's north west corner, home of the fresh, crisp, aromatic white (mainly). The winery was founded in 2014, along the banks of the Mino river, and this is simply a joy to drink. Fresh on the nose with hints of peach, pineapple and pear, these notes continue on the palate (peach being the dominant character) with a bit of apple and honey as well. The acidity is fresh and balanced and there's a nice clean finish with a touch of cleansing minerality. Pair with a bowl of mussels and I think you'd be a very happy bunny.
