We've finally added this old favourite to the list as you just can't go wrong with Planeta's Chardonnay. Organic - yes. Delicious - yes. Well priced - yes. Cellar potential - yes. It's an iconic wine for many reasons but the simple fact is that it's got it all - bright, fresh fruit (pineapple, baked banana, citrus, apricot); almond and buttered popcorn from the oak ageing; minerality; mouth watering acidity; lovely aromas, texture, length and balance. Excellent on its own, even better with food. If you like the fuller style of Chardonnay, look no further.
