This is, quite simply, superb Loire Chenin Blanc that I urge you to try. It's so good, in fact, it's almost like a top white Burgundy. Stunning. Francois Chidaine is the man who really put Montlouis on the map for world class Chenin, adopting biodynamic practices since 1999. This is packed with so many subtle nuances that words won't do it justice. There are hints of tropical fruit, peach, citrus, honey, wet stones, cream, quince, wax and flowers. It has lovely acidity and minerality and it gives an impression of sweetness but it is bone dry. The length of finish is incredible and everything is in complete harmony. Really top quality.
