As with the Carmenere, this is on our list because a) it's sustainably produced; and b) it's bloody good for the price.  It's looks like a straightforward Chilean Cabernet but there's a lot more going on than you initially think.  There's the trademark Cabernet blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, ripe and juicy, but there's quite a lot of subtlety sitting in harmony alongside it - leafy tobacco, eucalyptus, cedar, spice, green pepper, toasty oak and dark chocolate.  Pretty complex for a wine at this price.  With juicy acidity and slightly grippy tannins, plus a decent length of finish, any wine that delivers this much bang for its buck and ticks the sustainable box is a must have.
