A new wine from Australian legend Jeffrey Grosset. It's from an A grade certified organic and biodynamic vineyard (Rockwood) and made with indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention. And it's a cracker, one of the new, fresher styles of Shiraz coming out of Australia. Packed with dark berries, lifted aromatics, mocha and spice, it's a plush, velvety wine with supple tannins and bright acidity. As it opens in the glass, it reveals a mineral edge and subtle warming coffee note. A hint of savouriness too. All in all, it has lovely weight and balance, complexity, length and depth. A cracker.
